After missing swimming for a week, I made it back into the pool this morning. Thankfully the coach wasn't there (they are in Mexico for races) because I was really dragging through the water. I was surprised how the last few workouts were still lingering in me - my legs were empty right from the start, and my arms weren't as smooth and fluid as I had hoped. But it was good to be back in the water again, and I made the most of it.
Things are still moving along well, and I am doing my best to keep it all in check. Workouts are getting longer, and work is picking up too. But so far all is good. Training is paying off, my family and I are happy, the days are getting longer. What more could you ask for?
