My suspisions were correct - today's run was slippery and wet.
Overnight we got a bit more snow but it was very, very wet. Plows had
cleared some of the pathways but not all. Whatever was not cleared was
a few inches of snow covering ankle-deep puddles. Peter and I
persevered through it all - a total of 10km which took us 10min longer
than usual. It was quite a bit harder than I had hoped especially for
such a slow pace, but the continuous navigating and the 50kph wind
made it feel much harder.

But it is done, my feet have warmed up and my shoes are drying. The
work day is done and I am on my way home to be with my two lovely
ladies. Life is good.
