The training (or lack of) stories and complaints of a not-so-newbie triathlete trying to reach longer distances and faster times. I started triathlons in 2006, and I'm still learning the tricks and paying the price.
About 300m from my bus stop I am passed by a bus - mine. "There goes my bus. Crap," I tell my cowowrker who was walking with me. "I think you can make it. In fact I know you can make it" was his response.
And with the help of the traffic gods, he was right. Didn't time that sprint though.
