Well, it's as good of a plan as any other. I've decided (?) that I'm going to pursue the Canadian 113 Half-Iron race here in Ottawa. The race is August 30, 2008, which gives me 6wks to get back into it. And that's just how long the peak phase is from the training plan I followed earlier this year.
So I'm going to give it a shot. After a week of nearly no training, I'm back into it big this week. I've got this week listed in the sidebar, and it may be a bit flexible to allow getting back into it without excessive shock to the system. It will be interesting to see what's been lost and what's recovered since the race last week.
But the first step will be the hardest - waking at 5am to get the swim in. :P
